Director General of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (ICBF). Prior she served on the Board of ICBF representing Juan Manuel Santos, President of Colombia.
Cristina Plazas was councilor of Bogota’s Chapinero neighborhood, Private Secretary of the President of the Senate and a member of Bogotá’s City Council. She served as Secretary of the Council of Ministers, High Presidential Advisor on Gender Equality and Private Secretary of the Presidency of the Republic, during the first term of President Juan Manuel Santos.
She studied Law in Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and has a diploma in Administrative Law of Universidad del Rosario.
